The short answer

AR Digital Solutions works Australia wide from one office at 1 Cheshire Street, Pallara, in south Brisbane. Our heaviest concentrations are around Brisbane and the Gold Coast, Melbourne's inner and western suburbs, and western Sydney. Most of the work happens over calls, screen shares and email.

What "local" actually means for a digital agency

Every agency page in the country claims to be local to wherever you are. It's worth being straight about what that's worth.

For most of the work, proximity changes very little.

An SEO campaign is keyword research, content, technical fixes and links. A Google Ads account is structure, negatives and landing pages. A website build is design, code and testing. None of that improves because the person doing it drives past your shop. We have clients in Melbourne we speak to weekly and clients twenty minutes down the road we've never met, and the work looks the same either way.

What people are really asking is whether anyone picks up.

When someone says they want a local agency, they've usually been burned by one that went quiet. The fear isn't distance, it's being ignored, and being in the same city has never stopped that from happening. The questions worth asking are who your account manager is, whether you get their direct number, and what happens when something breaks on a Friday afternoon. Ours are in the Pallara office, and Managed Support answers in 1 to 3 hours.

Where local knowledge genuinely does matter.

Three places, and they're all about your customers rather than our address.

Local search targeting is the obvious one. Ranking in a map pack depends on proximity to the searcher, and that's your address, not ours. Which means the work is on your Google Business Profile, your service area pages and the reviews attached to your listing.

Understanding the customer base matters more than people expect. A trade business in Truganina is selling to a young mortgage belt buying its first home. The same trade in Fitzroy is quoting renovations on properties a century older. Same service, different money, different objections, different words on the page.

Then there's knowing which nearby areas you should also chase. Most businesses under target. A Parramatta business often has more to gain from Westmead and Wentworthville than from another push on Sydney terms it will never win. That call is easier when someone has looked at the actual suburbs, not just the city name.

What working with us looks like from another state

You get an account manager with a direct number and a standing call, usually monthly, more often at the start of a project. Work in progress goes on a staging link you can open whenever you like. Reporting leads with enquiries rather than rankings.

The parts that need someone on the ground, photography, video, a walk through your premises, get arranged locally and we brief whoever does it. That's the only piece where being in the same postcode helps, and it's a small piece.
