NDIS website design on the Gold Coast

For providers whose teams cover 57 kilometres of coastline and whose website still says "servicing the Gold Coast".

The short answer

NDIS website design on the Gold Coast means a provider site that states which suburbs you actually staff, which supports are open, and how a referral gets started, in language a coordinator and a family can both use. AR Digital Solutions builds these sites from Pallara in southern Brisbane. We are not an NDIS provider.

A city this long breaks the way most provider sites are written

The Gold Coast runs about 57 kilometres from Coolangatta to the Logan boundary, and the sector is spread along the whole of it. Support coordination and allied health concentrate around Southport and the hospital precinct. Supported independent living houses sit through Labrador, Nerang, Ashmore and out into Upper Coomera and Pimpama, where housing is newer. Day programs run from industrial units at Molendinar and Burleigh West.

Nothing here is a short trip. Nerang to Palm Beach at three in the afternoon is a different proposition to the same drive at ten, and the northern growth suburbs keep adding participants faster than providers have staff to reach them.

Which creates the problem this page is about. Almost every Gold Coast provider site says it services the Gold Coast. A coordinator placing a referral in Currumbin does not need to know you exist somewhere in the city. They need to know whether your workers can be there on a Tuesday morning, and when the coverage statement is vague they move on rather than ring to find out.

Coverage is the page most provider sites get wrong

Coverage is not a sentence in your footer. On a coast this shape it is a set of pages, and getting it right does more for referral volume than a redesign of anything else.

Write the suburb list from the roster, not the ambition.

The honest question is where you can send someone at short notice without paying two hours of travel. If the answer is Southport to Burleigh with occasional runs north, write that. A coordinator who gets a yes and then a cancellation does not come back.

Give the areas you serve properly a page each.

A Coomera page talks about the estates up there, the services you run in them and who the local team is. Those pages rank because they say something specific.

Say where you are thin, and what you can still do there.

Telehealth, a fortnightly run, a waitlist. A qualified yes beats a map with the whole city shaded in.

Do not shade in areas to look bigger.

A coverage page for a suburb you cannot service brings enquiries you refuse, and refusals teach referrers to stop calling.

If you run supported independent living, the vacancy page carries the site

Vacancy searches are among the few genuinely high intent searches in this sector, and providers answer them poorly. A coordinator looking for a room wants a dated listing, per house.

Useful listings say which suburb the house is in and how it connects to transport, how many rooms are open, what the physical access is like, what the overnight arrangement is, and when the room is available. They describe the household in a way that helps a match without identifying anyone who lives there, and they use no photographs of current residents or their rooms. Consent sits with you, and we publish nothing identifying without it.

Then a named contact for a tour. Vacancy listings need to be as quick to update as a calendar entry, because a stale one is worse than none.

Accessible from the wireframe, and where our work ends

Some of the people reading your site use screen readers, magnification, switch devices or captions. We build to WCAG 2.2 AA as the working target: heading order that survives being read aloud, form fields with real labels, keyboard paths that do not trap, and plain language rather than sector shorthand. We test with a screen reader and a keyboard before launch.

To say it plainly, AR Digital Solutions is not an NDIS provider. We build the websites and run the campaigns. Your obligations under the Practice Standards and the Commission's advertising expectations remain yours. We keep claims about what a support will do for a participant off the page and hand your compliance person a draft to approve.

One pin, and 57 kilometres to cover

Map results are weighted by distance from the searcher, so one registered address gives you one pocket of the Coast. A provider registered in Nerang will not appear in a map search made in Coolangatta. That gap closes with coverage pages and ordinary local SEO rather than with a second address, which risks the listing you have.

Our own listing is at Pallara in southern Brisbane, an hour up the M1, because it is the only office we hold. We do not appear in Gold Coast map results either.

Other areas we build provider sites for

The same team builds for providers in Southport, Coomera and Robina, and north into Logan, where a lot of Coast providers take work as well.

From first call to launch

  1. The roster conversation

Where your teams genuinely reach, which supports are open, and what you will not take.

  2. Structure and forms

Services, coverage, vacancies and intake first. Website design follows the structure.

  3. Copy, then compliance review

The draft arrives as a document with claim sensitive lines flagged, and your compliance person marks it up before it is built.

  4. Testing, launch, training

Screen reader and keyboard passes, then a session so your team can edit coverage and vacancies without us.

Three reasons providers pick us for this build

Developers rather than template assemblers.

Vacancy listings, coverage pages and intake forms that feed your systems, and provider software when an off the shelf tool will not do.

Hosting and support in the same building.

Australian hosting in Sydney, with Managed Support answering in 1 to 3 hours.

Nothing about the build is locked to us.

No lock in contract, every login in your name, and the files leave with you.

"We already have a website."

Then the first question is whether the site is the problem. Sometimes the pages are fine and referrals stall because the vacancy list is four months old.
