The short answer
We build websites for Kuraby businesses on WordPress, Shopify or Webflow, from a single page site for a mobile trade through to a store with pickup and delivery. Fixed scope, fixed price, no lock in contract, hosting in Sydney. Our team of 32 works in house from one office at Pallara, a short drive from you.
A lot of Kuraby runs out of a van or a spare room
The shops near the station and along Beenleigh Road are the visible half of the local economy. Grocers, butchers, takeaway, phone repair, barbers, a tutoring centre above a shopfront. The other half has no frontage at all: electricians, plumbers, tilers, mechanics, removalists, cleaners and mobile support workers, all registered to a house in Kuraby and working across Underwood, Runcorn, Stretton, Eight Mile Plains and Rochedale.
That second group is who most of this page is for. No signage, no window, often no address they want published. The van is the shopfront and the phone is the counter, and the job that pays this week might be off Underwood Road or over in Springwood rather than in Kuraby.
Here the site is a verification tool, not a shopfront
In most suburbs a website's first job is being found. In Kuraby a large share of the work arrives before anyone opens a browser. A name gets passed at the mosque after Friday prayer, in a community group chat, in the queue at the butcher, from a cousin who used you in March. By the time someone lands on your home page they already have your number.
They are not deciding whether to look at you. They are deciding whether to ring.
That changes what the first screen has to do. Is this the business I was told about, is there a real person behind it, do they cover where I live, and how do I contact them. So the business name and the suburbs you serve go up high, with a photograph of you rather than a stock image of somebody in a hard hat, a licence number as text where a licence applies, and a phone number that dials when a thumb hits it.
It also gives you permission to cut things. The rotating slideshow, the three paragraph story about your values, the quote form that asks for a budget range before it asks for a phone number. None of it survives contact with someone who has already half decided to call you.
What we build instead
A call button that behaves like one: sticky on mobile, a real tel link, never a contact form as the only way through. A callback path for people who cannot answer, because if you are on a roof at two o'clock, a two field form that texts you beats a six field form that emails you.
Job photos with the suburb in the visible caption, not the file name. "Bathroom retile, Underwood Road" does two jobs at once, and it is a line a search engine and an AI answer can both read. Licence, insurance and ABN as text rather than a scanned certificate, because nothing reads an image except a human who bothers to zoom. A service area written out in suburb names. And a page that opens fast on mobile data, since plenty of these visits happen in a car park or on the platform at Kuraby station.
Platform depends on what you sell. WordPress suits a trade or clinic that will keep publishing. Shopify suits the grocer or butcher who wants pickup, delivery windows and weekly stock changes. Webflow suits a business where design carries the impression and the content sits still. Ad traffic goes to a purpose built landing page, never the home page.
Southside suburbs we also build for
Website design in Underwood, Runcorn, Stretton and across Brisbane, with Eight Mile Plains and Rochedale on the same basis. If the site is fine and the problem is traffic, start at SEO in Kuraby instead.
Send us your current site and we will tell you whether it needs rebuilding or just fixing.
How a build runs
One scoping session
What you sell, who rings you, and what the site is currently costing you. Fixed scope and fixed price come out of it, in writing.
Structure before design
Pages, order, and what each one has to prove. You approve it before anyone opens a design tool.
Build, then test on a real phone
On mobile data, not on office wifi with a desktop browser shrunk down.
Launch and hand over
Domain, hosting and logins in your name, plus a walkthrough so you can change your own hours and prices.
Why Kuraby businesses use us
We are genuinely close.
One office, 1 Cheshire Street in Pallara, a short drive from Kuraby. We will not pretend to have a Kuraby address, but we can sit across a table from you when it matters.
Fixed scope and fixed price.
The number in the proposal is the number on the invoice, and changes get quoted before they get built.
Support that answers.
One to three hours during business hours, from the same in house team that built the site.
"Our last web guy disappeared with the logins."
We hear it often enough that it goes in the contract. Domain, hosting and site admin are registered to you from day one, and you keep them whether you stay or not.
