Website design in Maroochydore

Built for a customer holding a phone in one hand and a set of plans in the other.

The short answer

We design and build websites for Maroochydore businesses, from a five page trade site through to online stores and booking systems. Builds are fixed scope and fixed price, hosted in Sydney, and handed over with every login already in your name. We have 32 in house staff and no lock in contract.

The work is in Maroochydore. The businesses doing it are in a shed at Kunda Park

Maroochydore is the closest thing the Sunshine Coast has to a CBD, and right now it is building a second one. A new city centre is going up from scratch on the old showgrounds site, street grid and services laid in before the buildings arrive. That work has reached well past the head contractors.

Ten minutes inland is where they sit. Kunda Park is sheds and yards: fabricators, cabinetmakers, mechanical workshops, plumbing and electrical outfits, hire yards and suppliers. Kuluin runs a smaller version behind its residential streets.

The catchment is what people underestimate. A Maroochydore trade business is rarely only that. It quotes in Mooloolaba and Alexandra Headland one week, Buderim and Caloundra the next, then Noosa or the hinterland.

For a business with no shopfront and a phone number on the door of a ute, the website is the only thing a stranger can inspect before ringing.

What we build for businesses on this side of town

Most jobs here are one of four things. A five to ten page site for a trade or supplier that needs to look established and take quote requests. A bigger site for a builder or fit out firm where the portfolio does the selling. A Shopify store for a supplier selling parts online. Or a landing page built for one campaign and one number.

We build on WordPress unless there is a reason not to, because a site your office manager can update on a Tuesday beats one needing a developer to change a price. More on builders and trades sits on our trade and construction page, and therapy providers need a different build, covered on NDIS website design in Maroochydore.

Four things a trade site needs that a designer will not think of

Put the licence number where it can be read.

QBCC number, ABN and insurance. Coast homeowners have been told to check and plenty do. A licence number in eight point grey in the footer is technically present and practically invisible.

Show the jobs, not the stock photos.

Six real projects with a photo, the suburb and what was involved will outsell forty stock images of a man in a hard hat. If your only photos are on a phone, use those.

Make the quote form ask for a photo.

A field that lets someone upload a picture of the problem removes a site visit from the front of the process and tells you in ten seconds whether the job is yours.

Do not build forty suburb pages.

A thin page for every suburb between Caloundra and Noosa is the exact pattern Google's scaled content systems catch. Write proper pages for the four or five areas you actually work in, name real jobs you did there, and let one honest service area page cover the rest.

We are ninety minutes south and we are not going to dress that up

Our office is at 1 Cheshire Street, Pallara QLD 4110 in southern Brisbane, roughly ninety minutes down the Bruce Highway. It is the only address we have. Renting a desk on Ocean Street for a second listing is against Google's guidelines.

Two consequences. We do not appear in the Maroochydore map pack, so if you found this page it came through organic search, and we cannot be at your yard this afternoon.

What distance does not touch is your ranking, because map pack proximity is measured from your pin rather than ours. A Maroochydore designer gives you nothing a result can see. That is local SEO work on your own profile, which stays in your account.

Where else we build on the Coast

The same team builds for businesses in Mooloolaba, Buderim, Kuluin, Alexandra Headland and Kunda Park, regionally from our website design on the Sunshine Coast page, in Milton, and everywhere else on service areas.

How a build runs

  1. We look at what you have

The current site, where the last twenty enquiries came from, and what the businesses winning your jobs do differently.

  2. We lock the scope and the price

Pages, content, integrations and dates, all in writing. The number moves only if the brief does.

  3. You watch it get built

A staging link from week one, so handover is not the first time you see it.

  4. We launch and keep it running

Australian hosting, a Sydney data centre, and Managed Support on 1 to 3 hours.

Why trade businesses here end up with us

Actual developers, not template assemblers.

We are AWS certified and the people who build the site also run the servers under it, so nobody gets passed between two companies on a Friday afternoon.

Nothing is locked.

Projects are fixed scope and fixed price, support runs month to month, and your domain, hosting and analytics sit in your name from day one.

Somebody answers in 1 to 3 hours.

Which matters when your quote form quietly stops sending and nobody notices.

"We get everything through word of mouth."

Good, and most of the best trade businesses here do. The referral still looks you up before ringing, and if the newest thing they find is a Facebook page from 2019 it goes cold quietly. A site does not replace word of mouth. It stops it leaking.
