The short answer
AR Digital Solutions is a marketing agency that works with Labrador businesses on search, paid ads, social and the website underneath them, all run by one in house team of 32. You deal with a single account manager, retainers are month to month, and every account we set up stays in your name.
New neighbours haven't chosen anyone yet
Labrador sits on the Broadwater just north of Southport, with the Gold Coast Highway running through it as Frank Street. For a long time it was a quiet run of older unit blocks and family homes. Over recent years newer apartment buildings have gone up along the water, and every one of them brings in households that don't have a hairdresser, a dentist or a regular takeaway yet.
That is the opportunity. A resident who moved in last month has no loyalty to protect. They open Google Maps, search for what they need, and ring whichever business looks active and close. Six months later that choice has hardened into a habit that is hard to break.
The businesses that win this are rarely the biggest. They are the ones whose listing is complete, whose reviews are recent, and whose Instagram shows the shop is still open. People searching from Labrador also shop across the line in Biggera Waters and drive to Southport for work, so a business here is competing for attention across a wider patch than the suburb sign suggests.
One team doing the job four suppliers usually split
Most small businesses on the northern Gold Coast end up with a web person, an SEO freelancer, someone who runs the Facebook ads and a hosting company they have never spoken to. Nobody owns the result, so nobody fixes it.
Search and maps.
We set up and maintain your Google Business Profile, fix the technical problems on your site, and write the service pages that match what new residents type. Our local SEO work is where most Labrador businesses should start.
Paid ads when they make sense.
Google Ads for urgent jobs, Meta for anything people browse for. We turn them on for a reason and turn them off when they stop paying.
Social that proves you're open.
Regular posts, replies to messages, and reviews answered within the week.
The website underneath it all.
Built, hosted in Australia and looked after by the same people running your campaigns, so an ad never points at a broken form.
One person who knows all of it.
Your account manager can tell you what the ads spent, what the rankings did and why the site went down on Saturday, without passing you along. The full service list is on our marketing page.
Getting found by people who just moved in
Map results lean hard on distance, so a Labrador business will show up most readily for searchers in Labrador itself and the streets closest to Biggera Waters and Southport. Reaching further takes proper service pages and a steady flow of reviews that mention the areas you work in.
Competition is moderate. Southport is crowded because it is the Coast's civic centre, but plenty of Labrador categories still have listings with no photos, old hours and a handful of reviews from years ago. That is a gap you can close in a few months of consistent work.
Our own office is at Pallara in southern Brisbane, and it is the only address we hold. We will never suggest renting a virtual office to fake a local pin, because Google suspends listings for it.

We also work with businesses in Southport and Ashmore, as well as Biggera Waters and Arundel. The rest of the list is on our service areas page.
What the first few months look like
We read the current state
Profile, site, ads and social, checked against the businesses a new Labrador resident would see beside you.
We agree the order of work
Usually the Business Profile and site fixes first, then content, then paid. Scope and monthly fee in writing.
We do the work and show it
Changes go live where you can see them, with a short note on why each one was made.
We report on enquiries
Calls, forms and bookings by channel each month, then a decision on what gets more budget and what gets cut.
Why businesses here choose one team
Your account manager is the constant.
One name and one number for everything from ad spend to a broken contact form. Managed Support replies in 1 to 3 hours.
Our marketers and developers share an office.
When a campaign needs a new landing page, the person building it is a few desks away, not a separate invoice.
No lock in contracts.
Retainers run month to month. If the work stops paying, you can stop paying.
"We tried an agency and heard nothing after the first month."
That's the most common story we hear. It's the reason you get one named person and a monthly report you can actually read.
