The short answer
SEO on the Sunshine Coast works at town level rather than region level, because a patient in Caloundra never sees the clinic ranking in Noosa. We handle technical fixes, one page per place you actually operate, Google Business Profile and links. AR Digital Solutions has 32 staff and 4.9 from 96 reviews.
Health moved the region's centre of gravity, and search never followed
The Sunshine Coast University Hospital at Birtinya changed where a lot of this region works. Around it sits a health precinct that keeps adding specialist suites, a private hospital next door, imaging, pathology and the allied health practices that grow near any hospital. Nambour and Noosa still have their own hospitals, Buderim has a medical cluster older than any of it, and aged care sits thick from Caloundra through Kawana.
None of that made the Sunshine Coast a single market. It is a dozen town centres sharing a name and a council, each with its own catchment, and health shows it most clearly. Someone in Caloundra with a sore shoulder does not drive to Noosaville. A family in Nambour looking for a paediatric speech pathologist checks Nambour, then Maroochydore, and usually stops there. The region behaves as a set of overlapping bubbles rather than a city with a centre, which is the most useful thing to understand about search here, and it applies to a mortgage broker as much as to a physiotherapist.
Why "SEO Sunshine Coast" is the wrong target for most practices
Region wide terms look like the prize and behave like a tax. Every business from Beerwah to Cooroy chases them, and the enquiries arrive from forty minutes away. A clinic ranking first regionally still loses the person in Coolum who searched with a town name attached, because that search returned a map result and yours was not in it.
Town terms are the opposite. Fewer searches each, cheaper to win, closer to a booking, and added up across the towns you operate in they beat the regional term almost every time.
Structurally that means one page per place you have a room in, written about that room, with the practitioners who work there and the conditions you treat. Not twelve near identical pages with the town name swapped, which is the pattern Google's scaled content systems were built to catch.
Then the profile. Proximity is the heaviest factor in map results and you cannot move your rooms, so the effort goes into what you can change. Primary category matched to the service you most want enquiries for, services listed individually, photos updated, and questions answered by you rather than by strangers. Local SEO does most of the lifting here because most searches happen inside a fifteen kilometre bubble.
One warning specific to health. AHPRA's advertising rules prohibit testimonials in advertising for a regulated health service, which covers review quotes pasted onto your own site. Reviews on your Google profile sit differently, since the patient publishes them. Take your own advice on where the line falls, and be wary of any agency offering to fill your site with patient quotes.
What we actually do each month
Technical SEO comes first, because a slow site with a broken booking integration wastes everything spent after it. Booking widgets are the usual culprit. They load late, hide the page's content behind a script, and often nobody has checked whether a phone can complete a booking at all.
Content follows, written in the words people use rather than the words on a referral form, since someone searches "knee pain" long before "patellofemoral". Generative AI results reward the same page, a plain answer with who wrote it and what they are qualified in.
Then authority. Link building here comes from local sources more than national ones. The chamber of commerce in each town, the clubs you sponsor, local news, and the professional bodies you already belong to. Slow and durable.
Reporting is grouped by town, so you can see you own Buderim and are invisible in Sippy Downs. The broad SEO service page covers the method in general.
Towns we work across
We work from Caloundra through Kawana, Birtinya, Buderim, Sippy Downs and Coolum, north to Noosaville and Noosa Heads, and inland to Nambour and Maleny.
Also see SEO in Maroochydore if the commercial centre is your main catchment, and SEO in Brisbane if you have rooms at both ends of the highway.
How the work runs
Audit and baseline
Where you rank in each town now, what is technically broken, and which competitors are taking the enquiries.
Fix the site first
Speed, structure, indexation, and the pages that already rank but convert badly.
Build out by town
One location page at a time, plus the profile work, in order of demand.
Report monthly by town
Rankings, calls and form enquiries, with next month's changes written down.
Why practices stay with us
Search and paid sit in the same office.
32 staff in house, so whoever writes your service pages talks to whoever runs your ads rather than emailing another company.
Reporting you can read in five minutes.
Enquiries and calls at the top, positions by town underneath, no 40 page automated export.
One account manager.
A named person who knows your practice and your last three months of work, not a shared inbox.
"How long until we see something?"
Movement on town level terms usually takes eight to twelve weeks, and regional terms take longer. Anyone promising page one in thirty days is selling you something else.
