The short answer
AR Digital Solutions is a marketing agency working with Gold Coast businesses across search, ads, social and websites, with 32 in house staff and one account manager per client. Retainers run month to month with no lock in contract. Our office is at Pallara in southern Brisbane, an hour up the M1.
The Coast has more marketers per square kilometre than almost anywhere
Walk the back streets behind James Street in Burleigh Heads, or the converted houses around Miami and Mermaid Beach, and you'll pass a dozen small studios. More sit in the Southport towers, the Bundall office parks and the Varsity Lakes business park.
There's a reason for it. The Coast pulls senior marketers up from Sydney and Melbourne who want the surf and go out on their own within a year. Add the social operators who came out of the influencer economy, freelancers running two clients from a co-working desk, and resellers putting a local badge on work produced elsewhere.
The client base supports it. Tourism operators, trades, real estate agencies, gyms and cafes buy small retainers, which is the size of job a one person shop can serve. Churn is high. Plenty of Coast businesses have used four suppliers in six years, and the fourth sounded exactly like the first.
So finding a marketing agency on the Gold Coast isn't your problem. You'll find twenty before lunch. The problem is that all twenty claim results, all twenty mention strategy, and nothing tells you which one still answers the phone in March.
Eight questions that separate Gold Coast agencies
Ask these on the first call. They sort the field faster than any proposal.
Who does the work, by name?
Not who runs the meeting. Ask what gets subcontracted and where those people sit.
What happens when that person is away for three weeks in January?
A one person shop has one honest answer, and you want it before peak season.
Do I own the ad account, the analytics and the site files?
Get it in writing. Some suppliers build inside their own accounts, so leaving costs you the history.
Can you show me a live search terms report?
Not a dashboard screenshot. That report shows what your money actually bought.
What's the term and how do I leave?
Twelve month lock ins are common here. Ask what happens in month three if it isn't working.
What happens in month one?
Vague answers usually mean month one goes on discovery you already paid for.
Whose results are in the case studies?
Ask for the client name and whether the numbers are audited or client reported. Ours are client reported.
Who picks up at 4pm on a Friday?
When a site goes down before a long weekend, that answer is the whole relationship.
The honest part: a good Burleigh freelancer will beat us on price and often on speed for a small scope. What they can't do is run six disciplines at once or cover a resignation. Match the supplier to the job.
What we handle for Coast clients
Search for the suburbs your customers use. Google Ads when you need enquiries this month rather than next quarter. Meta campaigns for anything visual or seasonal, which here is most things. Websites when the traffic is fine and the site is why nobody converts. One marketing retainer, one person reporting on it.
Where our pin sits and what that means
Our Google Business Profile is registered at Pallara in southern Brisbane, an hour up the M1 from Southport, and it's the only address we have. Renting a desk at Bundall for a second listing would breach Google's guidelines.
So we don't appear in the Gold Coast map pack. If you searched "marketing agency gold coast" and landed here, it came through organic results rather than the map.
Your own pin is another matter. It sits at your trading address with the right primary category, current photos and a steady flow of reviews. Plenty of Coast businesses we audit lose map visibility on category choice alone.
Other parts of the Coast
We work the length of the city, from Coolangatta and Palm Beach through Burleigh Heads and Broadbeach, west to Robina and Nerang, and north to Coomera and Pimpama.

How working with us runs
A look at what's there
Rankings, ads, analytics and the last supplier's work. You get the read either way.
A plan with a number on it
Which channels, what they cost, what they should return.
The work starts
Campaigns live, pages published, tracking checked before anything switches on.
Monthly review
Leads first, spend second, rankings after, on a call rather than in a PDF nobody opens.
What makes us a different pick
Most of our growth is repeat clients.
People come back for a second project or send someone else. That's the number we watch.
Everyone is ours.
32 staff, in house since 2015. Nothing goes to a freelancer you'll never meet, and nobody is learning your business from a brief written by someone who left.
One account manager.
One person, one number. They know your last three campaigns without you re explaining them.
"We've been burned before."
Most people we speak to have. Same story usually: attentive during the sale, quiet by month four. Hence no lock in contract, and a named person rather than a shared inbox.
