GoHighLevel setup and support

We're GoHighLevel Certified and we run it every day, so you get a build that suits an Australian service business rather than a US snapshot.

Consulting: GoHighLevel, set up and supported.

The short answer

GoHighLevel is a combined CRM, booking, SMS, email and automation platform. We're GoHighLevel Certified and build, migrate and support sub accounts for Australian businesses, including number provisioning, sender compliance and time zone correct automations. Brisbane based, 32 staff.

What we do in GoHighLevel

  • Sub account builds from scratch, or a rebuild of one that's gone sideways
  • Pipeline, stage and custom field design before any workflow is switched on
  • Migration from your current CRM, with the data cleaned on the way in
  • Automations for first response, reminders, no shows and review requests
  • Number provisioning, calendars and sender setup for Australian conditions
  • Forms and payments wired in through GoHighLevel integrations
  • Ongoing help through GHL support when something stops firing

What GoHighLevel is good at, and where it gets oversold

The honest version, from a team that's GoHighLevel Certified and has no reason to oversell it.

Where it genuinely earns its money.

For a service business that wants pipelines, calls, SMS, email and booking in one place, the consolidation is real. Count what you pay now for a CRM, a booking tool, an SMS platform, an email platform and a form builder, then add the integrations holding them together and the hours spent copying details between them. Replacing five subscriptions with one is a saving you can point at on an invoice.

The bigger gain is speed. When the enquiry, the text message, the call recording and the calendar sit on one record, the first response happens in minutes rather than after lunch. Missed call text back is the clearest example. Someone rings while you're under a car, they get a text within seconds, and you keep a job that would have gone to whoever answered next.

Where it gets oversold.

It's not a substitute for a proper website on anything content heavy. The page builder is fine for a funnel or a single landing page, and it starts fighting you the moment you want a blog, structured data control, template level speed work and a content model that scales past twenty pages. Businesses that move a whole site into GHL to save a hosting bill usually spend the saving twice over in lost organic traffic. Run the funnels there and keep the website where it belongs.

Snapshots are the other trap.

A snapshot bought from a marketplace looks like a shortcut and usually isn't. It was built for someone else's sales process, so the stages are named for their business, the workflows reference custom fields your account doesn't have, the copy is written in US English for US expectations, and half the automations depend on triggers the seller configured by hand and never documented. Debugging a stranger's workflow takes longer than building your own, because you have to work out their intent before you can change anything. We usually rebuild rather than tweak, and clients are surprised how much faster that is.

Three Australian details that catch people out.

Number provisioning is the first. Australian local and mobile numbers need identity and address documentation before they're issued, and porting an existing business number has a lead time rather than being a switch you flick. Plan for it before launch week.

Sender rules are the second. Australian SMS marketing sits under the Spam Act 2003, which requires consent, clear identification of the sender and a working way to opt out. Sender IDs and reply behaviour also work differently here to the US defaults baked into most snapshots, so imported templates usually need the opt out and sender details rewritten before a single message goes out.

Time zones are the third, and the one that quietly embarrasses people. A sub account left on a US time zone fires your appointment reminders in the middle of the night. Workflows with a wait step until 9am obey the account setting rather than the contact's location, and Australia adds its own complication because Queensland doesn't observe daylight saving while New South Wales and Victoria do. If you book across state lines, the calendar and the workflow both need checking, and the only reliable test is to run a real booking through and watch when the messages land.

How a build runs

  1. We map the process first

Stages, fields and what happens at hour one. The same groundwork as any CRM solutions project.

  2. We build in a clean sub account

No inherited snapshot, unless yours is worth keeping and we'll say if it is.

  3. We provision and connect

Numbers, calendars, sending domains, forms and payments, tested with real bookings.

  4. We hand over and stay reachable

Training for your team, then GHL support if you want someone watching it.

Who this suits, and who it doesn't

It suits service businesses with a phone that rings, and anyone paying for four tools that half overlap.

It's a poor fit if your growth depends on content and organic search, because the website belongs elsewhere. Same if nobody will own the system internally, since the best build still needs someone who logs in.

Why the Australian details matter here

GoHighLevel Certified, and we use it ourselves.

We're in the platform daily, which is why the Australian details above come from experience rather than a help article.

In house developers.

When GoHighLevel can't do something, our developers build the connection instead of telling you it isn't possible. See GoHighLevel integrations.

No lock in contracts.

Retainers run month to month. The sub account is yours regardless.

"We already bought a snapshot and it's a mess."

Common, and fixable. We'll audit what's in there and tell you honestly whether it's worth repairing or faster to rebuild, and we've argued for both.
