NDIS Website Designs: how we rank our own specialist site

NDIS Website Designs is our own brand, a specialist web design and SEO service for NDIS providers. It has served more than 150 providers, and we use it as a live test of everything we recommend to clients. Alongside the search work we designed the website and run the Google Ads and Meta Ads campaigns.

The short version

On 28 October 2024, the first day of rank tracking, 4 tracked keywords were on page one of Google. As of 17 September 2026, 152 tracked keyword entries are on page one and more than 100 are in the top three, including #2 for “ndis web design” (about 390 searches a month). What we did for NDIS Website Designs

  • Website designDesigned and built in-house, structured for search from day one.
  • SEOOn-page, technical and content work with dated rank tracking.
  • Google AdsSearch campaigns managed month to month with plain-English reporting.
  • Meta AdsMeta campaigns run alongside the search work.

What we delivered

NDIS Website Designs did not hire one service. They hired a team that does website design, SEO, Google Ads and Meta Ads under one roof, so nothing falls between suppliers. We designed and built the website, structured for search from the first wireframe rather than optimised after the fact. The SEO programme runs on top of that: technical fixes, content written for the searches that actually turn into enquiries, and links earned in the client's own market. We also run the paid side, Google Ads for people already searching and Meta Ads for the people who are not yet, and report both in the same plain-English update as the organic numbers.

The result is a marketing setup the client can call one number about.

The brand

NDIS Website Designs (ndiswebsitedesigns.com.au) focuses on one sector. It offers eight services, from website design and NDIS SEO to Google Ads, social media, logos and copywriting, sold as Website, SEO and Growth System packages.

The challenge

A niche brand has a useful advantage: the searches are specific. It also has a catch. Generic agencies target the same terms, and NDIS providers can tell quickly when an agency doesn’t understand their world.

So the site had to rank and still read like it was written by people who know the NDIS Code of Conduct, the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission and what participant choice and control means in practice.

What our team did

A purpose-built site

Our team built a 92-page flat-file PHP site with a shared stylesheet and reusable page builders. That makes it quick to add new service or location pages that look and behave the same way.

Package pages that answer real questions

Three package pages (Website, SEO and Growth System) each carry comparison tables, a process timeline, FAQ accordions and pricing schema.

Compliance-first copy

Every page leans on sector knowledge rather than generic agency claims. We write in Australian English, avoid templates and keep the tone plain.

Location and service keyword coverage

We track searches by service (web design, SEO, website development) and by place, from Brisbane suburbs to other states. Those groups show where the site is strong and where the next page should go.

Holding back pages that lack proof

A marketing service page was written and then held back until it has real first-hand examples. For this sector, we treat genuine experience as a publish requirement.

Results

28 October 2024 (tracking starts): 4 tracked keywords on page one, one of them the brand name.

As of 17 September 2026:

  • 152 page-one entries and 223 in the top 30, from 272 tracked keywords
  • #2 for “ndis web design” (about 390 searches a month)
  • #1 for “NDIS website designer”
  • #2 for “seo services for ndis providers”
  • #1 for “ndis web design brisbane” and “ndis website design queensland”
  • #1 for “ndis web design melbourne” and “ndis web design sydney”

This project tracks keywords on two Google Australia search engine setups, so some keywords are counted twice in these totals.

Why this matters for clients

We don’t ask clients to try anything we haven’t tested on our own sites first. The page structures, keyword grouping and compliance-first writing that work here are the same ones our team uses on NDIS provider websites. When we explain why a location page needs local detail, it’s because we’ve watched it work on this domain.

Fun fact

Google’s early homepage was famously bare partly because Sergey Brin said they had no webmaster and he didn’t “do HTML”.

Marketing tip (lesson learned)

Pick one service you’re known for and give it its own page, with a clear heading that matches how people search. A single focused page usually beats a long list of services crammed onto your home page.
