Humility Support Services: suburb-level SEO for a Brisbane NDIS and DVA care provider

Humility Support Services is a registered NDIS and DVA care provider based in Pallara, in Brisbane’s south-west. Our team built a large content library around the suburbs and services they cover, so families and veterans nearby can find them when they search. Alongside the search work we designed the website.

The short version

When SE Ranking rank tracking started on 22 May 2025, none of the 58 keywords tracked at the time appeared in Google’s top 100. As of 17 September 2026, 28 tracked keywords are on page one and 83 are in the top 30, out of 163 tracked (SE Ranking rank tracking, Google Australia).

What we did for Humility Support Services

  • Website designDesigned and built in-house, structured for search from day one.
  • SEOOn-page, technical and content work with dated rank tracking.

What we delivered

The search work is the part with the tidiest numbers, but it was never the whole job for Humility Support Services. We designed and built the website, structured for search from the first wireframe rather than optimised after the fact. The SEO programme runs on top of that: technical fixes, content written for the searches that actually turn into enquiries, and links earned in the client's own market.

One team, one report, one number that matters: enquiries.

The client

Humility Support Services supports NDIS participants and DVA clients across Brisbane’s south-west, with service reaching into Logan and Ipswich. Their work spans disability support and community nursing, along with in-home care for veterans through DVA Support at Home and the Veterans’ Home Care program.

The challenge

NDIS and aged care searches are YMYL territory, which means Google holds the content to a high standard. A provider has to explain programs accurately, show real expertise and still be easy to find at suburb level.

Most families don’t search for a brand name. They type something like “NDIS provider” plus their suburb, and the big national directories tend to fill those results. A local provider with a small site can be invisible for exactly the searches that matter most.

What our team did

  • Location pages: 25 pages across Brisbane, Logan, Ipswich and a set of high-intent micro-suburbs close to the Pallara base.
  • Blog articles: 25 posts on choosing an NDIS provider, support workers, community nursing, DVA support for veterans and Support at Home.
  • DVA service pages: two in-depth pages covering DVA Support at Home and the Veterans’ Home Care program, each with FAQs and schema suggestions.
  • Internal linking: a three-tier structure where blogs link to location pages, location pages link to service pages, and service pages link back to relevant blogs.

The full build ran to around 124 pages of copy and more than 33,000 words. We checked program details carefully, because getting a funding rule wrong on a page like this can mislead a participant.

Results

All figures come from SE Ranking rank tracking on Google Australia.

22 May 2025 (tracking starts): 0 of 58 tracked keywords in the top 100

As of 17 September 2026:

  • 28 tracked keywords on page one, out of 163 tracked
  • 83 tracked keywords in the top 30, with 12 in the top 5
  • #2 for “complex high care disability services” (about 70 searches a month), which wasn’t in the top 100 when tracking began
  • #3 for “ndis funded activities near us” (about 90 searches a month)
  • #6 for “assistance with self care activities” (about 210 searches a month)
  • #2 for “ndis registered provider seventeen mile rocks” and #3 for “ndis registered provider berrinba”
  • #1 for the brand search “humility support services”

The suburb pages are doing what they were built for. Several “ndis registered provider” plus suburb searches, from Coopers Plains to Stretton, now sit on page one.

Fun fact

Google’s Knowledge Graph launched in 2012 with the slogan “things, not strings”. It marked a shift from matching words to understanding entities, which is why a provider, its suburbs and its services need to be described clearly and consistently.

Marketing tip (lesson learned)

Pull your internal links from your live site, not from memory. On this project we checked every service URL before linking to it, because one made-up link on a location page quietly turns into a broken link across dozens of pages.

We work with disability and care providers through our NDIS provider marketing service. If you want to show up in the suburbs you actually serve, start with local SEO in Brisbane, and if your participants are south of the river, see our work on SEO in Logan.
