The short version
When SE Ranking rank tracking started on 13 March 2026, 2 tracked keywords were on page one of Google. As of 17 September 2026, 65 tracked keywords are on page one and 115 are in the top 30, out of 158 tracked (SE Ranking rank tracking, Google Australia).
What we did for Aussie Bridge Care
- Website designPlanned, designed and built by our own team, then kept up to date.
- SEOTechnical fixes, content and links, reported by enquiries not rankings.
- Google AdsCampaigns built, tracked and optimised by our in-house team.
- Meta AdsFacebook and Instagram campaigns, creative and audiences managed by us.
What we delivered
Aussie Bridge Care did not hire one service. They hired a team that does website design, SEO, Google Ads and Meta Ads under one roof, so nothing falls between suppliers. We designed and built the website, structured for search from the first wireframe rather than optimised after the fact. The SEO programme runs on top of that: technical fixes, content written for the searches that actually turn into enquiries, and links earned in the client's own market. We also run the paid side, Google Ads for people already searching and Meta Ads for the people who are not yet, and report both in the same plain-English update as the organic numbers.
The result is a marketing setup the client can call one number about.
The client
Aussie Bridge Care delivers community nursing, community participation, daily living support and supported independent living (SIL). Their service regions are Gold Coast, Ipswich, Logan, Moreton Bay, Redland and Sunshine Coast, with SIL homes in Gleneagle and Park Ridge.
The challenge
Multi-region providers often end up with the same page in more than one place. When that happens, Google has to guess which version to rank, and it doesn’t always guess well.
Content alone can’t fix a site that sends mixed signals. A good page with almost no internal links pointing to it can sit unseen for months, however well it’s written.
What our team did
Content. We wrote a three-document SEO package covering service page rewrites, location pages and blog posts. We also built landing pages for SIL vacancies, with a main hub and a detail page for each property.
Audit. In September 2026 we audited the site and found that location pages existed at two URL formats. Canonical tags on both pointed to the weaker version, even though every #1 location ranking sat on the other one. We also found that 37 pages received three or fewer internal links.
Fixes. We handed the developers a clear, ordered brief:
- Consolidate location pages onto one URL format, with 301 redirects from the old versions
- Rewrite over-length title tags and meta descriptions
- Add 126 internal links across 54 pages
- Rebuild the sitemap and add missing image alt text
Order mattered. We flipped canonicals first, then added links, then updated the sitemap, and added redirects last.
Results
All figures come from SE Ranking rank tracking on Google Australia.
13 March 2026 (tracking starts): 2 tracked keywords on page one
As of 17 September 2026:
- 65 tracked keywords on page one, out of 158 tracked
- 115 tracked keywords in the top 30, with 37 in the top 5
- #3 for “ndis provider brisbane” (about 480 searches a month)
- #2 for “ndis service providers brisbane” (about 70 searches a month)
- #1 for “supported short stay accommodation moreton bay” (about 10 searches a month)
- #3 for “Supported Independent Living Moreton Bay” (about 10 searches a month)
- #1 for “Community Nursing Redland” and “Daily Living Moreton Bay”
Rankings held through the URL change. After the fixes, pages with fewer than four internal links dropped from 37 to 2.

Fun fact
Tim Berners-Lee has said the double slash “//” in web addresses was unnecessary and that he regrets it. Even the inventor of the web would change a URL format if he could, which is a good reminder to plan yours before a site grows.
Marketing tip (lesson learned)
Check where your canonical tags point. Open two versions of the same page, view the source and search for “canonical”. If both point to the page that ranks worse, you’re telling Google to back the wrong one.
